The First International Conference on TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS IN BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING  AND MEDICAL PHYSICS , Educational  Issues, TABEMED-2000 is organized in the frame of the Tempus Project AC_JEP-13449-98. The project represents a fruitfully collaboration between several prestigious European Community and Romanian universities:

     A list of possible themes for submitted papers, meant to be suggestive rather than exclusive, is:

• Deadline for receipt of abstracts (Submission Forms): January 31, 2000 ! The deadline is extended untill February 15th 2000
• Notification of acceptance: February 29, 2000
• Camera-ready manuscripts: April 28, 2000

Regular mail submission forms should be sent to the address of the TABEMED-2000 Secretariat. Authors should send a copy of  the abstract and in addition should include on a separate page the address and information concerning the contact person.

ELECTRONIC ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Two electronic submission types are available:

1. Fill in the submission forms available on Internet at the following address (recommended): www.et.utcluj.ro/tabemed/submissi.html
2. Send an E-mail message to the address: tabemed2000@et.utcluj.ro. The e-mail message should contain the following information in the order indicated below:

• Paper title.
• Up to five keywords.
• Authors and affiliations.
• Topic(s).
• Name of the contact person to whom all correspondence will be sent (mailing address, E-mail, phone, fax, etc).
• Paper abstract.

REGISTRATION FEE

The registration fee includes the admission to the Conference sessions, a copy of the Proceedings, coffee breaks and the banquet:

• Standard registration fee: 100 USD;
• Reduced registration fee: 50 USD - for all the participants from the EU, Romanian partners and enterprises involved in the TEMPUS AC-JEP-13449-98;
• No fee - for all members of the International Steering Committee.
